Kinderkonzert at Orchestra Hall

In April, the preschool and kindergarten class will travel by bus to downtown Minneapolis. The children are able to experience on stage each instrument by itself as well as snippets from different famous pieces. The storyteller will told It is fascinating to hear the story come to life with the instruments playing the parts. Then we will go into a different room to try the sound factory. Each child is introduced to instruments such as a violin, cello, and snare drum. They also learned about high and low pitch. The bigger the instrument the lower the sound. It is an amazing field trip.
